lunch for birthday boy

today, dina and i celebrated hubby's birthday.  hari khamis lepas tak done sebab hari bekerja.  semalam pulak pergi rumah mertua kat cheras.  dah lama tak pergi, kalau tak silap dah 3 minggu kot.  so kena lah expose kan diri kerana diriku begitu berharga.  hu...hu....  macam iklan maybelline!

plan asal nak celebrate kat Lemon Garden Cafe.  tapi di atas sebab-sebab yang tak dapat dielakkan, terus tukar ke plan B.  nampak dalam suratkhabar ada promotion 50% hi-tea buffet for AmBank credit card holders kat a few hotels in kl.  cantekkk!!!  macam mana tak cantek, buat tambah hutang kad plastik yang dah sedia ada tu...  from the list of hotel, kitaorang pilih the nearest dan buat reservation.

since dah tau nak makan besar tengahari nanti, kitaorang makan breakfast ala kadar je.  sampai Serena Brasserie was about 12.15 p.m.  masa yang tepat bagi perut yang sedang berkeroncong.  tak ramai orang since we were among the first few guests yang datang awal.  so all the food still banyak lagi.  i like..!

i would say the buffet offers the best of international selections and local favourites.  lavish spread of fresh seafood, Japanese delicacies, Malay cuisines, bountiful sweet desserts and a few dishes with live cooking stations.  not so much variety but very filling.  mana tak filling, sampai sekarang pun rasa kenyang lagi.
